More photos from WRO Korea! Check out the closing ceremony album @ http://roboacademy.org/gallery/?level=album&id=12 Today in Korea, participants from 24 countries came together for the 6th World Robot Olympiad! Check out some of the photos @ http://roboacademy.org/gallery/?level=album&id=11 Over at TheNXTStep, they mentioned about the LEGO World that is on going. It’s an event where cool LEGO models are featured and the public would get a chance to check out all LEGO stuff! So what’s featured this year over at the LEGO WORLD?? The model of the actual LEGO warehouse that stores all the bricks that we play with daily!! Original post: http://thenxtstep.blogspot.com/2009/10/legoworld-2009_22.html LEGO has release an upgrade of the popular LDD! The latest version 3.0 features the ‘DESIGNbyME’ concept that allows you to proudly design the box that will carry your cool model if you purchase it online. Mindstorms 2.0(8547) is also supported under the ‘Box’ filter tab and you can find new components like the PF Batterybox and PF motor all under the same palette. Arrows are also added for users to easily rotate their model (the right click and move function still works though) and this is a plus for educators using LDD for lessons! So what are you waiting for? Download it now!
